Fifth Third Bank Endowed Professor
Rodney D’Souza is the Fifth Third Bank Endowed Professor of Entrepreneurship and the Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He received his Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship and Strategy from the University of Louisville. He also holds an MBA from Northern Kentucky University, a Masters in Information Systems from Pune University, and a Bachelors of Commerce from Pune University. Rodney teaches new venture creation, new venture management, and the business plan writing classes. His areas of interest include entrepreneurial opportunity identification, new venture teams, and new venture financing. His research has appeared in journals such as Journal of Leadership and Organizational Studies (JLOS), the Journal of Small Business Strategy (JSBS), Journal of the Association for Information Systems (JAIS), Journal of Business and Entrepreneurship (JBE), Journal of Developmental Entrepreneurship (JDE), and Southern Journal of Entrepreneurship (SJE). Additionally, he has presented papers at conferences such as the Academy of Management (AOM), BABSON, United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USASBE), and International Council for Small Business (ICSB).
