is a senior statistics and mathematics double major with a minor in computer science. She tutors math and statistics, and she also serves as a lab instructor for an introductory statistics course. In addition, she works in the Burkardt Consulting Center, where she has gained valuable experience in the area of statistical consulting. Her current research project involves analyzing the effects of a professional development program, CINSAM's Next Generation STEM Classroom (ngSC), on elementary science teaching methods in the Northern Kentucky area. She has recently presented this research at the Posters-at-the-Capitol conference in Frankfort, Kentucky. After she graduates, Alyssa plans to pursue a PhD in Biostatistics, eventually allowing her to work as a biostatistician in the pharmaceutical industry.
