MATHCOUNTS is a nationwide mathematics competition for junior high school students in grades 6 to 8.

The regional competition is held each year at Northern Kentucky University and is sponsored by the Kentucky Society of Professional Engineers.  Team and individual competitions take place with students winning prizes and the opportunity to participate in the state and national MATHCOUNTS competitions.

The next MATHCOUNTS competition will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at NKU.
