Dr. Shauna Reilly, Professor of Political Science and Director of the Institute for Student Research and Creative Activity, joined NKU in Fall 2009.

She is originally from Canada where she received her undergraduate degree from Queen's University.  She completed her Master's degree in Professional Politics and her PhD in American Politics at Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA.

Dr. Reilly teaches classes in the areas of American Politics, Political Behavior, and State Politics. 

Dr. Reilly's research focuses on political behavior and direct democracy.  The majority of her research looks at accessibility of election materials to voters.  She has published five books and numerous articles in this area. Find Dr. Reilly's books on Amazon.

Dr. Reilly conducts a lot of research with her students and takes students to conferences each semester.  Students interested in her classes or research can contact Dr. Reilly directly at reillys3@nku.edu.
