American Psychological Association (APA):
APA (http://www.apa.org/) is a scientific and professional organization whose mission is to  advance the creation, communication, and application of psychological knowledge to benefit society and improve lives. Its regional affiliates, the Midwestern Psychological Association (MPA) and Southeastern Psychological Association (SEPA) sponsor annual conferences where graduate students present research. .  

Association for Psychological Science (APS):
APS (https://www.psychologicalscience.org/) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion and advancement of scientifically-oriented psychology in research, application, teaching, and human welfare. Graduate students are encouraged to join, especially if planning to submit and present research at the Annual Conference.

Greater Cincinnati Human Resources Association (GCHRA):
GCHRA (http://www.gchra.org/) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the profession of human resources management. With 600 members in the Greater Cincinnati region, it is one of Ohio's largest and most dynamic chapters, and has received awards for outstanding achievement. GCHRA has invited NKU graduate students to form a graduate student chapter.

Northern Kentucky Society for Human Resources Management (NKSHRM):
NKSHRM (https://www.nkyshrm.org/) is an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource  Management. Now the third largest chapter in Kentucky, this dynamic member organization is  focused on the HR professional by providing educational and networking opportunities.
 
Organizational Development Network (ODN):
ODN (http://odncincy.org/) is a professional association of internal practitioners and external consultants who work with organizations to promote healthy change. Members specialize in human resources, training and development, leadership or talent development, change management, and strategic planning. The Greater Cincinnati/Dayton chapter meets regularly at Northern Kentucky University. Graduate students are encouraged to attend meetings and apply for membership.

Psi Chi:
Psi Chi is the national honor society for graduate and undergraduate students in psychology. Its purpose is to stimulate research in the science of psychology. The Psi Chi chapter at NKU has twice received the Outstanding National Chapter Award. Membership signifies academic excellence on employment applications, vitae, and resumes. Interested graduate students are invited to apply.

Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM):
SHRM (https://www.shrm.org/)  provides comprehensive resources to the HR management community to advance the abilities of HR professionals to effectively develop and execute organizational strategy. The Northern Kentucky Student Chapter meets on the NKU campus. Graduate students are welcome to attend meetings and to apply for membership.  

Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP):
SIOP (http://www.siop.org/) is a division of the American Psychological Association. Its mission is to enhance well-being and performance in work settings by promoting the science, practice, and teaching of industrial-organizational psychology. Graduate students are encouraged to become student members especially if planning to present research at the SIOP Annual Meeting.  

Society for Occupational Health Psychology (SOHP):
SOHP (http://www.sohp-online.org/) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the generation, dissemination, and application of scientific knowledge in order to improve worker health and well-being. Graduate students are encouraged to become student members.
