The Deutschklub is a great way to further immerse yourself into the language as well as culture and to show your engagement in the field. German-American Day Lectures

The German Program presents the annual German-American Day Lecture Series in commemoration of October 6, 1683, when the first 13 German settler families from Krefeld, Germany, arrived in Philadelphia and founded Germantown.

Ausflüge and Kaffeestunde

Join us for our German conversation hours, the Ausflüge (field trips). Speakers of German meet once a month to practice speaking and listening to German. Meeting times and places will be announced via Canvas and the Department of World Languages and Literatures.
