World Languages and Literatures offers two micro credentials at the undergraduate level.
Why do a microcredential?
Does your career expose you to another language? Or maybe learning a foreign language is on your bucket list? The Start Speaking microcredentials are designed to teach linguistic skills at the intermediate-low proficiency level as defined by ACTFL (the American Council on Teaching Foreign Language).
Want to take it further? Gain a more sophisticated understanding of your target language through in-depth examination of complex linguistic structures. The Next Step micro-credentials provide students with linguistic skills and professional and cultural knowledge applicable to a wide variety of professions, both domestic and international.
