CITE is committed to supporting our faculty during the transition to Canvas. We currently have several training options available that meet the different needs of faculty and staff.
Workshops: Learn Canvas through a series of five different classes. The workshops are best taken in order, but they can be taken in any order since you will have several opportunities to take them throughout the upcoming semesters. Find course descriptions and register at the training registration website.
Canvas 101: Canvas 101 will give you everything you need to know about Canvas to begin building in the new LMS. Any faculty or staff can self-enroll into the course, so go to the course to self-enroll.
Canvas 201: Once you are comfortable with building your course in Canvas, enroll in this course to learn more about creating stand out graphical elements to help make your course look great!
Canvas 202: Accessibility is an important issue and this course will give you some tips about how to make sure your Canvas course is on the road to accessibility.
WebEx Sessions: Not available to meet for a face-to-face workshop? We are also offering live and synchronous online workshops via WebEx.
