Calling all May 2022 graduates: to help you prepare for your commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 7, NKU invites you to attend this week’s Grad Fair:

Grad Fair will be in the NKU Bookstore
Tuesday, March 1, 10 AM–4 PM and Wednesday, March 2, 10 AM–4 PM

Why attend:

  • Win your regalia (cap and gown) or a diploma frame. A few lucky soon-to-be grads will be randomly selected at check in each day.

  • Sit for graduation or professional portraits.  A professional photographer from GradImages will be available to take cap and gown or business portraits with no sitting fee and no obligation to purchase proofs.  (For questions on pricing and ordering photos please email giservice@gradimages.net.)

  • Buy regalia, order graduation announcements and/or class rings with help from Herff Jones representatives.

  • Confirm the spelling of your name and check your address.  May graduates can verify how your name will appear on your diploma, which will be mailed to you after the ceremony.

  • Pick up your university honors cords: qualifying bachelor and associate degree candidates (GPA of 3.50 or higher) can pick up university honors cords to be worn at commencement. Master degree candidates are not eligible for honor cords.

  • Learn about NKU Alumni perks and enter to win an alumni gift basket.

  • Browse the NKU Bookstore’s display of graduation gifts and other items.

  • Get answers to all your commencement questions!

If you can't attend:

No worries: attendance at Grad Fair is not required to participate in the commencement ceremony.

  • Caps and gowns will be available for purchase in the NKU Bookstore through Saturday, May 7.

  • Caps and gowns, announcements and class rings may be ordered online at the Herff Jones website, www.herffjones.com/college/nku through Monday, April 4.

  • After Grad Fair, university honors cords will be available at your college dean’s office and at commencement on May 7. Don’t know what college you are in?  Find out here!

  • To check the spelling of your name on your diploma: go to the myNKU portal, Student Self-Service tab, and select “Apply for Graduation.” More detailed instructions can be found here. Questions? Email registrar@nku.edu.

Be an NKU Change Maker!

Each year, graduates come together to be NKU Change Makers by joining the Senior Challenge. The Senior Challenge is a great way not only to give back to those who will follow in your footsteps at NKU but is also a perfect opportunity to secure some exclusive graduation gear!

Visit the Senior Challenge website for the levels and complete list of benefits. The deadline to join the Senior Challenge is April 5, 2022.
