Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life
Kim received her Bachelor of Arts in History and her Masters of Public Administration from NKU. She served as an Assistant Director of Student Life responsible for Greek Life and Registered Student Organizations from 2004 until July 2013. The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life was created in July of 2013 and Kim became the Director. She is the primary advisor for the Panhellenic Council and National Pan-Hellenic Councils. Kim is currently working on her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership. She is the mother of two sons, one who began his undergraduate education at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky fall 2017. Her younger son attends Mason County High School in Maysville, Kentucky. Kim and her partner Bryan Underwood are both proud Norse and Bryan is a proud Alumnus of Chase College of Law. Her family includes two adorable dogs, three sweet cats and lots of deer, squirrels and birds that stop by to visit now and then. She lives in historic Maysville, Kentucky which is about an hour from campus and is the ancestral home of our most famous former student (who did not graduate) George Clooney. Kim's favorite thing to do is spend time with family and friends enjoying the natural beauty of her family's home.

Colin received his Bachelors of Science in Political Science from Middle Tennessee State University where he was a founding father of his chapter. He then began his graduate career while working as the Program Assistant of Fraternity and Sorority Life at MTSU. He completed his Masters of Arts in Higher Education Administration with focuses in Educational Leadership and Sports Administration from the University of Louisville, where he was incredibly fortunate to serve as the Graduate Assistant of Fraternity and Sorority Life for two years prior to coming to NKU. Colin is the primary advisor for the Interfraternity Council. Though a Nashville native, he now lives in the southeast Cincinnati area with his lovely fiancé, Ansley (a University of Kentucky PharmD graduate), and their Chug (chihuahua-pug) Frank, black tabby cat Boo, and the newest addition to their family, a precocious pug named Louis. In his free time, Colin is a very passionate sports fan of the Nashville Predators (NHL), all Arizona sports franchises, and MTSU, UofL, and NKU athletics. He also enjoys taking the dogs to the park/for long walks with his fiancé, maintaining a student affairs blog, and getting to work with other international organizations on topics like leadership development, dynamic recruitment, and building stronger brotherhoods/sisterhoods.

NKU is located just South of Cincinnati in Highland Heights, KY. The campus is easily accessible off of I-275 and the Alexandria Pike (Hwy 27). If you are new to campus or a visitor, there is a parking garage located across the street from the Student Union on Kenton Drive. Please bring in your parking ticket and we would be happy to take care of it for you.
