Assistant Director, Fraternity and Sorority Life
Colin received his Bachelors of Science in Political Science from Middle Tennessee State University where he was a founding father of his chapter. He then began his graduate career while working as the Program Assistant of Fraternity and Sorority Life at MTSU. He completed his Masters of Arts in Higher Education Administration with focuses in Educational Leadership and Sports Administration from the University of Louisville, where he was incredibly fortunate to serve as the Graduate Assistant of Fraternity and Sorority Life for two years prior to coming to NKU. Colin now provides advising and administration for the fraternity and sorority community at NKU. His favorite part of the job is building relationships with community leaders, and seeing the growth in the community both in size, but also in member development. He is a national volunteer for multiple international organizations and travels to various campuses and conferences, serving as faculty while facilitating educational curriculum on topics of leadership development, dynamic recruitment, and building stronger brotherhoods/sisterhoods. A Nashville native, he now lives in the southeast Cincinnati area with his lovely fiancé, Ansley (a University of Kentucky PharmD graduate), and their Chug (chihuahua-pug) Frank, black tabby cat Boo, and the newest addition to their family, a precocious brindle pug named Louis. In his free time, Colin is a very passionate sports fan of the Nashville Predators (NHL), all Arizona sports franchises, and MTSU, UofL, and NKU athletics. He also enjoys taking the dogs to the park/for long walks with his fiancé, maintaining a student affairs blog, and exploring the greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area!
