NKU recognizes the importance of providing its employees with continuous learning opportunities to ensure that they have the knowledge, skills, and aptitude to perform their role, as well as the tools and resources to reach their full potential.
Employees should work with their managers to find the appropriate internal training opportunities to enhance their performance on the job. In addition to internal training offerings, employees are encouraged to seek professional development opportunities outside the university that relate to their positions at NKU.
This will be a great opportunity for managers with less than three years in a manager role with direct reports and managers who just want a refresher or certificate to apply. This certificate program is a practicum of interpersonal skills. Refer to the New Manager Training Program webpage for more information and to apply.
