I live in the Northside neighborhood of Cincinnati and enjoy spending time restoring my old house, kayaking, bicycling and camping. I serve as a board member for Cincinnati Preservation Association and the Great Oaks Police Academy.
Prior to NKU, I worked for over 25 years leading not-for-profit organizations. Locally, I have served as Executive Director for the Cincinnati Preservation Association and Women Helping Women and as a grant writer for Cincinnati Public Schools.
I graduated with a B.A. in Sociology and Women’s Studies from Miami University in Oxford, OH and also studied Historic Preservation. I am a state certified police instructor in Ohio and New Jersey, and have a long-standing passion for teaching, earning the Mead Johnson Excellence in Teaching Award from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
