Upward Bound provides instruction in math, laboratory science, composition, literature and foreign language.

Location: Griffin Hall
The CS Academy will present different topics in CS (e.g., security, IT, programming)
through hands-on activities with NKU Professors. Each day will present a different topic
and activity. The camp will close out on Friday with a focus on careers in IT put on by Kroger
Technology’s cybersecurity team! By the end of this academy, participants will have learned
about IT as an area of study and as a potential careers!

AFA CyberCamps emphasize fun, hands-on learning of cybersecurity principles that
are relevant and applicable to everyday life. At CyberCamp, students learn the importance
of cyber safety and how to protect their personal devices and information from outside threats.
Spend 1 week at NKU and take a deep dive into an IT Career pathway of your choosing.
Learn from local professors, explore local companies, and experience life on a local university
to see which career may be right for you.

Journalism in the Digital Age summer workshop for high school students,
now known as the Journalism & Digital Media Academy. Join us July 22-26
to explore Northern Kentucky University with cameras, microphones,
keyboards – and much more -- as part of this expanded hands-on media
BJC is balanced with critical reflection on the impacts of new computing technology.
BJC is an AP® Computer Science Principles course supported by the NSF and endorsed
by the College Board and code.org.
