The Globally-Minded Student Association matches new international undergraduate students with domestic students who will help them navigate through the NKU system upon arrival and as they adjust to a new life and culture. The program aims to bridge differences by promoting dialogue and cultural exchange between domestic and international students.
International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) is pleased to present the International Friendship Family Program to students, NKU faculty and staff, as well as the local community, which has strong ties to the university.
ISSS greatly appreciates your interest in this program and your desire to support international students during their academic career in the United States.
International Student & Scholar Services invites you to join our Thanksgiving Dinner Host Program. This program matches international students with local families to provide them with opportunities to experience traditional American Thanksgiving Dinner. As a host, you will be expected to bring at least one student with you to your Thanksgiving celebration. Domestic students living in the area can be hosts as well if they wish to invite their international friend to their families' celebration.
