Description

We provide site licensed software to faculty and staff; some of which are available via work-at-home licenses.

Check the Self Service Software Center to see if the software you desire can be downloaded directly on your NKU-owned computer without the help of a desktop support technician. Otherwise, contact the IT Help Desk who can connect to your NKU-owned computer remotely or send a desktop support technician.

Work-at-home is available for specific software and may be installed on personally-owned computers. The two most popular requests are for Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Creative Cloud. Microsoft can be downloaded by logging into webmail (see more detailed instructions). To download Adobe Creative Cloud, please contact the IT Help Desk. Please note that Microsoft Operating Systems are no longer available from IT for download on personal machines.

Also, much of the software required for classes is available via the NKU Virtual Desktop that may be accessed on all computers via an internet connection.
