Description

We have a limited supply of various types of equipment that we loan temporarily to faculty and staff for traveling, when having equipment repaired, etc.

Contact the IT Help Desk to reserve general equipment, audio/visual and classroom equipment.

 

General Equipment

  • Laptops (Dell and Apple)
  • Tablets (iPad, Touchpad, Windows Surface Pro)
  • Voting clickers for TurningPoint software
  • Presentation remotes (to advance presentation slides remotely)

 

Audio/Video Equipment

We loan a variety of portable equipment for instructional needs and certain NKU events. Equipment includes but is not limited to:

  • portable audio recorders
  • microphones
  • public announcement (PA) speaker systems

Note: All audio and video equipment is available on a first-come, first-serve basis for a maximum duration of two weeks. Two business day advance notice is required for all audio and video equipment checkouts.

 

Classroom Equipment Checkout

We provide a variety of portable equipment for instructional needs and certain NKU events. 

Equipment includes but is not limited to:

  • portable projectors
  • projector screens
  • video cameras
  • still cameras
  • laptops
  • portable audio recorders
  • microphones
  • public announcement (PA) speaker systems

Note: All equipment is available on a first-come, first-serve basis for a maximum duration of two weeks. A two-business day advance notice is required for all equipment checkouts.


Conference Phone Reservation

You may reserve a conference phone for use in any building except Student Union by contacting IT (859-572-5271). Conference phones must be connected to a single-line phone jack or into the data port of a two-button D-term unit. Instructions for installation are included when you 7773 for assistance.
