The Norse Tech Bar is a walk-in assistance center for technology located in University Center. We offer the following services:

  • Technology experts to answer questions and troubleshoot issues with computers, tablets and smartphones.
  • 16 Windows and 4 Mac computers (with Adobe Creative Suite) available in computer lab.
  • Collaboration Spaces with 4 areas equipped with LCDs with hookups for laptops and/or tablets.
  • Business printers for black and color. Copier, scanner, fax.  Pay For Print is available to print from your own computer.
  • 5 day equipment checkout for students: iPad, iPad mini, Samsung, camera. MacBook Pro & Air. Dell Latitude. Equipment is loaned for a period of 5 business days, and may be renewed once IF there is not a waitlist for the item. Renewals must occur in person, not over e-mail or phone. (Student service only; faculty/staff should request equipment loans from IT Central or CITE.)
    • Equipment CANNOT be loaned out during winter, fall or summer break. All equipment must be returned before exam week so we can check inventory and perform maintenance.

How to Request Service

Visit the Norse Tech Bar in University Center.  No appointment needed; first come first serve.  If the NTB is closed or if you are off campus, contact the IT Help Desk instead via phone, chat or an online ticket.

Regular Hours  

Beginning August 17th:
Monday - Thursday:  8am - 6:30pm
Friday:  8am - 4:30pm

Spring Break, Winter Break & Summer Hours

Monday - Friday:  8am - 4:30pm

(NTB closes whenever the University is officially closed (holidays, weather, etc.).

After hours or remote assistance

Contact the IT Help Desk via phone, chat or an online ticket.
