Looking for your next leadership opportunity on campus?

We are excited to invite currently enrolled NKU students to submit an application for Steely Library's Board of Student Stakeholders (BOSS). BOSS is a committee that meets monthly to provide input on library services, policies, collections, spaces, programming, and technology.

As a member of BOSS, your role will be to provide feedback on current library initiatives and to serve as ambassadors and advocates for the library. The BOSS team will work together during the 2021-22 academic year to complete a $3,000 library improvement project of your choice. You will be asked to commit to participating in eight meetings and any additional time that might be required to complete the improvement project (this depends on the nature of the project, which BOSS members will determine).

Reasons to join BOSS include:

  • Gaining leadership and project management experience
  • Providing feedback on library projects
  • Learning more about library and information services
  • Developing and implementing a library improvement project that benefits all students

Interested in joining? Applications are due no later than Friday, July 9.
