Starting the week of May 11, Steely Library personnel will begin our relocation to Landrum. This is a 10-month temporary relocation while our building undergoes upgrades and updates to our heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
As library personnel begin to move, our available services and service hours will shift. The last day users can visit our Steely Library spaces is Friday, May 15.
Between May 18-29, the library building will be closed, but a service point will be available at the first-floor fountain entrance for users. The service point will be open Monday – Thursday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm and on Fridays, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm. During this time, the following services will be available:
Special Collections and University Archives will be closed Monday, May 4 – Friday, May 29 and Stego Studio will be closed Wednesday, May 6 – Friday, May 29.
After a successful move, library services and personnel will be available on the third and fifth floor of Landrum starting on June 1.
