Professor Library Informatics Program
Mary Todd Chesnut is the Lead Faculty Member for the Library Informatics Program and Professor at Northern Kentucky University. She has been employed at Northern Kentucky University since 1988 and a member of the library faculty since 2002. Mary earned her MSLS degree from the University of Kentucky in 2002.
She currently teaches LIN 101, LIN 175, LIN 300, LIN 414, and LIN 496 and leads curriculum and program expansion for the Library Informatics Program. She received NKU’s Online Faculty Member of the Year Award in 2012. Since 2006, Mary has volunteered her time as a regular fiction reviewer for Library Journal and as a Personalized Talking Print Reader for the Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Mary’s scholarly pursuits focus on information literacy and online learning. When not at NKU, Mary enjoys card making and antiquing quests with her family, where she searches for greeting cards from the 1940s.
