  • Encourage Students to Apply for the Steely Library Research Award

If you have students that have submitted research for NKU's Celebration of Student Research and Creativity, please encourage them to apply for the 8th Annual Steely Library Research Award.

All students who participate in Celebration, and whose projects contain a significant research component, are eligible to apply for the award. The applicants who demonstrate the most effective use of Steely resources will receive an award of between $250-$500 dollars.

Consider Putting Your Textbooks on Reserve in Steely

The Department of Communication recently placed all of their General Education textbooks on reserve in Steely, making them available for limited checkout to all students.

We want you to consider doing the same!

Students don't always have their textbooks readily available. Whether they haven't purchased their textbooks because they are waiting to complete the financial aid process, or if they simply forget one of their books at home or in their dorm during the semester, making textbooks available on Reserve at Steely can help students succeed.

To place textbooks on Reserve, or for more information, fill out the form on our Course Reserves page.

Help Support Steely's TRC with 'Bundles of Books'

We need your help! We are seeking to raise $3,000 to purchase new and more diverse books for the Steely Library Teacher Resource Center. We want ALL children who visit us to see themselves represented on the pages of our books, and supporting the TRC will help us achieve that goal!

It's quick and easy to support the TRC at impact.nku.edu/BundlesOfBooks. Thank you for your consideration!
