Steely Library is Hiring! Access Services Specialist

Steely Library is looking to add a Specialist to our Access Services Department that will provide top-notch customer service while serving at the main information service point for the library.

This position will spend 30-hours per week meeting customer needs, including answering directional and general questions, checking library materials in/out while using an automated library circulation system, and providing first-tier reference.

Additionally, this position will help train student employees while offering general supervision when appropriate, and will assist with overseeing shelving and inventory procedures.

We are looking for individuals with customer service experience, the ability to troubleshoot office equipment, problem-solving skills, and a passion for improving the user experience in a direct-service environment. A demonstrated ability to create a work environment that promotes teamwork, diversity, equality and inclusiveness is also a must.
