The Coordinated Community Response Team (CCRT) is an action team of key individuals from across NKU's campus and the greater community who commit to creating a campus culture dedicated to the prevention of and response to interpersonal violence.
Engaged regional partners providing a coordinated and comprehensive response to address and prevent sexual assault, stalking, and domestic violence within the Northern Kentucky University community.
We are committed to have a diverse team that represents the entire community, not just the majority. It is not enough to only have representation, but we will also ensure everyone has an equal voice at the table.
We provide intervention and prevention services that are rooted in evidence-based practice. Furthermore, we assess our team values and collective actions through an evidence-based lens. In using evidence-based practices, we strive to provide comprehensive and effective responses to sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking.
We hope to create a climate to educate the NKU community on prevention and repair harm due to sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking. We hope this education leads to sustainable change.
We will provide a safe environment for the individual by respecting their voice and sharing of experiences. They will be an equal partner in planning, developing, and monitoring care to make sure their needs are met.
We agree to establish an environment where an individual's needs and feelings are highly regarded at all times.
We will be knowledgable and intentional in providing a holistic approach to our work. We pledge to provide a non-judgmental approach, meeting the person where they are. We will strive above all else to do no harm in an effort to avoid re-traumatizatio to all those involved.
