Supports and Services

The primary mission of PAC is to help support student parents who are receiving KTAP assistance as they navigate their tenure at NKU. If you are a new student to NKU or to the PAC offices, our Coordinator is available for assistance during the application phase to become a KTAP recipient. Once you are enrolled, you will have access to many resources and services!

As a KTAP recipient, you will be able to access individualized case management services with the Coordinator of PAC. Primary assistance with our case management will be through establishing employment opportunities to help meet work guidelines for KTAP.

Additional case management services may include coordination with your KTAP Case Manager through DCBS, other NKU staff or departments, and/or other professionals involved with your status as a PAC. Examples include:

  • Professors
  • Academic Advisors
  • Work-study Supervisors
  • Mental health professionals, etc.

Students can also be referred to other services within the community.
