Not only do you get your monthly cash allotment and transportation check with KTAP, as well as employment opportunities on-campus, but you can get much more when you are a KTAP Scholar:

  • Summer college tuition (if financial aid is unavailable)
  • Free event tickets for the greater Cincinnati/NKY area (awarded based on GPA)
  • Up to $1500 in vehicle expenses (liability insurance/repairs)
  • $250 education bonus for receiving high school diploma or post-secondary degree
  • Up to $600 in supportive services to be used for the following:

         o    NKU Parking Pass

         o    School supplies/books

         o    One suitable interview outfit for pre-employment purposes

         o    Up to 3 uniforms if employment has been accepted with a start date

         o    Eyeglasses, Dentures, Hearing Aids (not covered by health insurance)

         o    Licensing fees such as a driver’s license

         o    Criminal records check fee

         o    Copy of records fee

         o    Drug testing fee

         o    Photo ID

         o    Application fee required by a vocational school or program

         o    Training registration fee

         o    Short term training (not covered by financial aid)
