Course Options
Basic Physical Defense - 3 hour course
The goal of this training is to provide a person options to combat an attack with realistic self-defense techniques taught by certified Northern Kentucky University Police Department personnel. This course also provides educational information on personal safety while navigating NKU's campus. Class sizes can range from 4-12 individuals.
The Rape Aggression Defense System is a program of realistic, self defense tactics and techniques. It is a comprehensive course for women that begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction and avoidance, while progressing on to the basics of hands-on defense training.
Our courses are taught by certified R.A.D. instructors and provide you with a workbook/reference manual. This manual outlines the entire physical defense program for reference and continuous personal growth.
The 12 hour course is presented in 4 sessions which covers a variety of self defense education and tactics specific for women.
