SCOPE AND CONTENT:

The collection consists of regular meeting minutes of the Board of Directors of the Industrial Club of Covington, 1911-1923. Topics addressed in the minutes include club administration and finances as well as committee discussion on issues such as transportation, civic organizations, industry, city council, and water works in Covington. The collection also includes scattered correspondence, contracts, and lists of new members.
 

BIOGRAPHICAL/HISTORICAL SKETCH:

The Industrial Club of Covington was a predecessor to the Chamber of Commerce in Covington. Originally located at the northwest corner of 8th and Madison, the club had moved by 1919 to the southwest corner of Pike and Madison. 1
