Bio

Diane joined Northern Kentucky University in 1992. She taught mathematics courses for the Developmental Mathematics Program and the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. She was director of the Developmental Mathematics Program, Learning Assistance Programs, and today is director of Learning PLUS, which houses the tutoring programs, school-based scholars, and articulation/pathway agreements. Her professional passions include curriculum development and creating connections with high school and community college partners that help their students transition to NKU. She is active in professional organizations and currently serves on the Kentucky Council of Postsecondary Education Academic Readiness Workgroup and the Kentucky Organization for Student  Success board.

 

Diane holds a B.S. in mathematics from Millersville State College, an M.S. in mathematics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and an M.S. in operations research from Case Western Reserve University. She taught mathematics at Mercyhurst College for twelve years before coming to NKU.

Jered Wasburn-Moses

Bio

Jered joined Northern Kentucky University’s Learning Assistance Programs in 2010 as Coordinator of the Math Center. In 2016 he became the Learning PLUS Associate Director for Tutoring Programs, where he coordinates the Success PLUS program, manages TutorTrac, oversees tutor training, and teaches the occasional course for the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. He also is active in a variety of professional organizations, including serving as the Chair of the Professional Development Committee for the Association for the Tutoring Profession.

 

Jered holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in mathematics from Purdue University, and spent four additional years studying mathematics and math education at Michigan State University. Before coming to NKU, he taught mathematics and education courses at several institutions including Cincinnati State Technical and Community College and Miami University.

Bio

 

Kristin joined Northern Kentucky University in 2011 as a lecturer in the Honors program. She became the Coordinator of the School-Based Scholars and Pathways in 2017. In 2021, she became the Associate Director for School-Based Scholars and Articulation Agreements, working with our educational partners on opportunities for high school dual credit and transfer students.

Kristin is an alumna of NKU, holding a B.F.A. in Theatre. She has a M.F.A. from Florida State University in Screen and Play Writing.
