Each year, hundreds of high school students converge on NKU’s campus to take part in hands-on STEM+H (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Health) demonstrations, team-building challenges, and unique learning opportunities provided by industry professionals, college professors, and local STEM leaders.

This event is collaboratively presented by NKU's CINSAM and the Department of Education, the Cincinnati Museum Center, and the Kentucky Science Center.

HIGH SCHOOL ATTENDEES

Attendees are schools (including homeschools) that have expressed interest to CINSAM in being part of this event. In order to accommodate as many students as possible, CINSAM utilizes a rotation schedule of educators throughout the region. Each participating school is notified when it's their turn to participate.

PRESENTERS & SPONSORS

Industry professionals, college professors, and local STEM leaders are invited to share their expertise with hundreds of high school students. Presenters are being asked to provide 5 to 7-minute prerecorded videos or live conversations with students. These resources will be made available to students from this webpage beginning in October.

If you're interested in being a virtual presenter for this year's event, please fill out the Session Proposal Form by August 7, 2020.

Industry professionals, college professors, and local STEM leaders are invited to share their expertise with hundreds of high school students. Opportunities for involvement are:

  • Presenting 50 minute sessions
  • Being a Speed Mentor
  • Sponsorship

A session proposal form for the next event will be released in summer 2021.
