Graduate Student Organizations
There are many ways graduate students can get involved at NKU. In the English Department, we have two graduate student organizations we encourage you to consider: The Association of English Graduate Students (AEGS) and Licking River Review.
Association of English Graduate Students (AEGS)
Group of Grad Students

AEGS is a national organization focused on giving graduate-level English scholars a way to connect and engage with one another. NKU's AEGS chapter is known for the colloquium it hosts every year, allowing NKU students from a variety of disciplines a chance to present their research and creative works.

If you would like to learn more about AEGS or to apply, contact Kelly Moffett.

Licking River Review

The Licking River Review is a literary magazine edited by Master of Arts in English students at Northern Kentucky University. Their assistant editors are undergraduate students currently taking the Literary Publishing & Editing course for credit. Licking River Review has nearly 48 issues published in print, with their latest transitioning over to electronic. Licking River Review is the home of creative nonfiction, fiction, and poetry works from authors around the world. We have also recently begun interviewing writers about their writing and life experiences.
