NKU also offers the new Mechatronics Engineering Technology (MET). These programs provide the knowledge and practical skills required to gain professional employment in electronics, mechanical systems, and manufacturing industries.
The Engineering Technology programs are supported by local industry, who provide most of our students with co-op opportunities at the start of their second year. These typically lead to an offer of full-time employment. EGT graduates are hired as product design engineers, manufacturing process engineers, quality engineers, sales engineers, etc. with a near 95% job placement.
