Haile Planetarium is one of the hidden gems of Northern Kentucky University. Haile Planetarium is open to the public several times a month for free shows. The largest use of the Haile Planetarium is for the thousands of P-12 students who visit each year for a free field trip. As part of the Physics, Geology, and Engineering Technology Department, Haile Planetarium is located on the fourth floor of the Science Center.
Use the navigation pane on your left to view a detailed list of SPECIAL EVENTS and the full CALENDAR, as well as a complete listing of our available PROGRAMS. The planetarium can also host group events or birthday parties!
Haile Planetarium is an educational facility focused on inspiring appreciation and awareness of the universe in NKU students, faculty, and staff from all over campus, regional P-12 students, and the wider community. Astronomy is our starting point; from there we spread into the wider universe of the sciences and reach into literature, art, music, and beyond.

The Planetarium is in dire need of some upgrades that will affect our ability to continue to offer shows to the public.
Your donation, no matter the size, can have a direct impact on Haile Planetarium continuing to be a free resource for our community.
