3/3/2025 - NKU May 2025 regalia deadlines

Dear graduate,

Commencement is coming up fast and we hope to see you in person to celebrate! As a reminder, here are some important dates to keep in mind.

  • DNP, Ed.D and OTD custom regalia: Orders must be submitted by the end of the day on March 7. 
  • Non-custom doctoral regalia will be available to order until April 8. Please talk to your program director for more information. 
  • Caps and gowns are available for purchase online at Herff Jones until April 8. 
  • Undergraduate and master's regalia is available to purchase in person at the NKU Bookstore through May 10
  • Make a difference before you graduate. Make your Class Gift of $20.25 or more before April 30 and receive a philanthropist stole to wear at graduation.

Key commencement details to share with your friends and family members:

  • Tickets and seating: Tickets are not required and there is no limit to the number of guests who may attend. Seating is open on a first-come, first-served basis. 
  • Doors open: Guests and graduates are welcome to enter the Truist Arena one hour prior to the start of the ceremony.
  • Bags: Attendees are subject to a standard bag check at the entrances. No outside food or drink is permitted in Truist Arena (visit the arena website for a list of prohibited items).
  • Graduation gifts: Flowers may be brought into the venue and are available for sale at Truist Arena. To order flowers and find size restrictions, click here
  • Parking: All lots and garages on campus are open and free on May 10. Review the campus map and driving directions.
  • Accessibility: Guests and graduates may be dropped off in front of Truist Arena in the circle drive off Nunn Drive. Accessible parking is available on all levels of the Welcome Center Garage, which is located across the street from the arena and in Lot O. 
  • Watch online: Both ceremonies will be streamed on May 10 on nku.edu/commencement.
