7th Annual Kentucky Hunger Dialogue – Change Begins with Each of Us

Hosted by Eastern Kentucky University and EngageKY, supported by AmeriCorps.

October 4, 2024 – EngageKY is proud to announce the 7th Kentucky Hunger Dialogue event, which is scheduled to take place on Friday, November 8, 2024 at Eastern Kentucky University. The Kentucky Hunger Dialogue is an AmeriCorps-supported statewide initiative aimed at addressing hunger and food insecurity through collaborative efforts, education, and advocacy.

This annual gathering aims to foster collaboration, innovation, and action among stakeholders to create a more equitable and food-secure Kentucky. The Kentucky Hunger Dialogue will bring together a diverse group of participants, including students, representatives from colleges and universities, food insecurity advocates, community leaders, and food justice activists from across Kentucky and will feature keynote speakers, panel discussions, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities, all designed to spark meaningful conversations and concrete solutions to address food insecurity on Kentucky college campuses and in Kentucky communities.

“We are excited to host the Kentucky Hunger Dialogue and to bring together such a dedicated group of individuals and organizations,” said Mindy Wilson, EngageKY Program Director. “By fostering dialogue and collaboration between college campuses and our communities, we can discover innovative solutions and drive real change together.”
