Isabella Roth presenting at Heather BUllen Celebration

Meet Isabella Roth!

Isabella Roth is a sophomore Computer Science and Media Informatics major.  Isabella worked with Professor Yi Hu through UR STEM to explore the ever-growing world of cloud security. They worked with Amazon web services to create a cloud and attempted to connect an app to the cloud. The security idea they decided to explore the most was using a third party app to authenticate a users information, this is what most apps do when they ask to connect to your Facebook account. This research project was really fun to work with and Isabella really enjoyed learning about cloud security through hands-on research. Isabella cannot wait to continue to explore her research and is super excited to be working as an ISRCA ambassador!

Come visit Isabella on Monday and Friday afternoons to talk about UR-STEM opportunities or getting involved in research outside of traditional STEM majors!
