These items, arranged in the order acquired, consist of both gifts and purchases for the Special Collections and Archives. None is large enough to merit status as a unique collection, so all are grouped under the heading "Small Acquisitions," their size being the only thing they have in common.
As a backlog of collections were processed, Small Acquisitions also became the home for any material of unknown origin, for which no donor could be ascertained.
Among the varied items in this collection are a promotional photograph from the Sunset Harmonizers of Covington, documents from the Central Kentucky Asylum, and a composition book belonging to Katie Sealy, a student at the Nazareth Academy, 1877-78.
