Dear Colleagues:

As I shared with you earlier in the semester, I approved additional holidays this year, including the day before Thanksgiving and extra time over the winter break. In exchange for this time, I’d like to ask that you consider volunteering for the NKU Annual Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Community Service on Monday, January 21, 2019,  the date that the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., is honored and celebrated.  Nita and I will be spending the day volunteering and it is our hope that you will too.

Details are still being finalized and will be shared soon. I can tell you that the day will begin at approximately 8:00 a.m. with check-in at the Student Union and will conclude at approximately 1:00 p.m. after performing service either on- or off-campus.  In order to finalize plans for the day, we need faculty and staff to indicate their interest in participating by Wednesday, December 12, 2018  at https://tinyurl.com/nkumlkday19.

Nita and I look forward to your participation with us in the NKU Annual Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Community Service. Thank you for all that you do for our students and for NKU.

Sincerely yours,
Ashish
