Dear Colleagues,

This past Friday and Saturday, we had the honor and privilege of celebrating the achievement of more than 1,700 new NKU graduates who will now head out into the world in pursuit of meaningful careers and fulfilling lives. Our commencement exercises each semester remind us that, every day, we touch lives and make a difference within our region.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to our faculty, staff and students who made this memorable event a special time for our graduates. Countless individuals contributed behind the scenes and on stage to make these days a success — it would not be possible to celebrate our graduates without you.

I also want to thank those of you who helped along the way to get each student to their commencement day. Supporting our students’ success is at the forefront of everyone’s role at this university and our commitment was evident as our graduates crossed the stage to receive their diplomas.

Now that we have wrapped up our spring 2019 semester, we look ahead to moving forward with our Success by Design strategic framework. Campus will remain alive with excitement this summer as we host the Governor’s School for Entrepreneurs June 23-July 13 and the Summer Spark program for incoming first-year students June 24-July 26, among other events. And I hope you will join us at Fall Convocation on August 12 as we kick off the new academic year.

Thank you for your continued commitment to NKU. I hope you have a safe, restful and enjoyable summer and have many opportunities to spend time with your family and friends.

Sincerely,
Ashish
