Dear Colleagues:

As I shared with you earlier in the semester, additional holidays were approved this year, including the day before Thanksgiving and extra time over the winter break. In exchange for this time, I ask that you consider volunteering for the NKU Annual Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Community Service on Monday, January 20, 2020, the date that the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., is honored and celebrated.  I will spend the day volunteering to celebrate this day of service and hope that you will join me.

The day will begin at approximately 8:00 a.m. with check-in and breakfast at the main campus Student Union or the NKU Grant County Center and will conclude at approximately 1:00 p.m. after performing service either on- or off-campus.  In order to finalize plans for the day, we need faculty and staff to indicate their interest in participating by Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at http://bit.ly/NKUMLKDay2020.

Guests (children, spouses, etc.) are also welcome to participate and can be included on this registration form.  The Office of Student Engagement is also looking for more partners to host sites for this event.  Please reach out to Tiffany Mayse at mayset@nku.edu with site contacts or any MLK Service Day questions.
