Dear Colleagues:

The Kentucky House of Representatives voted yesterday and passed the Higher Education Pension Reform bill (HB358). The bill contains most of the elements of our consensus proposal.

Now the bill goes to the Senate for deliberation and, hopefully, a vote in that chamber next week. Before the bill can become law, it must be passed by the Senate and signed by Governor Bevin.

We are grateful for the support in the House and we remain optimistic about continued support for this consensus bill. As we learn more information throughout the process, we will continue to share those details with you.

Sincerely,
Ashish
