Dear Colleagues:

I want to extend my sincere thanks to all of you who helped organize the many events during Inauguration Week last week. It was truly
gratifying to see so many of you that attended the inspiring events celebrating our university.

Each day we acknowledged all those constituents that make our university great. We celebrated our community, our current and future
students, and our devoted faculty and staff. Finally, on Friday I was deeply honored to be installed by the Board of Regents as NKU’s sixth president during a memorable investiture ceremony.

It was truly an exciting week planned by the inauguration committee, co-chaired by Dean Diana McGill and Vice President Eric Gentry. My thanks go out to this committee for all their hard work, as well as to those of you who shared ideas and suggestions for ways to celebrate NKU and our people.

I look forward to our continued work in advancing student success and meeting the needs of our region. I am continually moved by your commitment to changing people’s lives and empowering the future through access to higher education for all who seek it, as well as your passion for helping students complete their higher education goals and prepare for productive careers and community engagement.

It is my pleasure to share in these powerful experiences with you. Once again, thank you for a wonderful Inauguration Week and for all you do for our students, our region and our university.

Sincerely,
Ashish
