Dear Campus Community:

This Saturday, we will honor our 1800 graduates who have achieved their educational milestone. Our celebration this year is different from prior years, as we will gather virtually to confer degrees. While this is not what anyone could have imagined before COVID-19, our Virtual Commencement Celebration allows us to recognize their dedication and for persevering through these uncharted times.

Every class is unique, but there is much to be said about our May 2020 graduates. They have overcome obstacles on the path to this day, and many in the past few months. I am proud of the way they have responded and discovered new ways to mark this milestone in our virtual environment. I hope you have been enjoying the post as our May
graduates shared their memories on social media. It is not what any of us had planned, but I look forward to December when we can gather together to celebrate all our 2020 graduates.

As this academic year comes to a close, please join us to honor our May graduates virtually on May 9 at 11 a.m. Visit our commencement website where there will be a link to join the virtual celebration. The Virtual Commencement will last approximately one hour. The recording will also be available for viewing after Saturday morning’s event on NKU’s YouTube channel.

Once again, thank you for your support of these graduates, our students and each other, as we navigate COVID-19. Be safe, well and healthy.

Sincerely,
Ashish K. Vaidya
