As we all adjust and adapt to our new mode of operation, I would like to remind you of a way you can continue to support our students and your fellow faculty and staff.
NKU’s COVID-19 Student Emergency Fund has raised over $56,000 so far and it is making an impact on students’ lives. Thanks to a recent generous donation, your gift between now and April 30 to the COVID-19 Student Emergency Fund will be matched dollar-for-dollar for up to a total of $10,000.
NKU’s Benevolent Association, in existence since 1994, has provided support to fellow NKU employees during times of special need, such as catastrophic illness or other types of emergencies. The pandemic crisis has affected our employees in adverse ways and we have an opportunity to provide some relief to them as well. To kick off our fundraising effort for the Benevolent Association Fund, every member of the President's Cabinet has pledged their support and has offered a similar challenge. As faculty and staff, you have the option to give through monthly or one-time payroll deduction or by credit card, and your gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar for up to a total of $10,000 to the Benevolent Fund as well.
Thank you again for your generosity and goodwill over these past few weeks. Despite the fact that our way of life has been significantly disrupted, the tremendous level of support across campus for our students and to each other makes me proud. We will weather the storm together.
