Dear Colleagues:

Thank you for viewing the Fall 2020 Convocation on Monday afternoon.  Like so many events these past several months, it was a bit different than what we are
used to. Nonetheless, it was wonderful to engage in a reflection of the past year, recommit to the work we must do this year, and share ways we can help shape a more hopeful future.

If you were unable to watch live, I invite you to watch the full convocation by clicking here.

I would also like to acknowledge the many talented students, staff and faculty whose contributions helped deliver the virtual convocation – from those who shared their voices in the reflection video, the IT folks who had to navigate the technology, to the Marketing and Communications team with the presentation.

Congratulations again to Professor Mark Bardgett for being named the Frank Sinton Milburn Outstanding Professor. We are so fortunate to have dedicated faculty like Dr. Bardgett here at NKU.

The rest of this week, I will visit with our colleges at their respective virtual convocations, as well as the New Student Convocation on Friday morning when we will welcome the Class of 2024 to NKU. There is certainly a great deal of excitement as we look forward to welcoming our students back to campus for the fall semester and for classes to begin next week.

Thank you once again for all that you do every day to support our university and our students. I wish you good health and a successful and rewarding semester.

Sincerely,
Ashish
