Dear Colleagues:

Thank you to those of you who were able to join me for the Virtual 2020 Spring Forum this morning. While I wish we all could have been together in the ballroom, it was good to connect and share some of the highlights and accomplishments from this academic year, as well as how this community has responded to the pandemic crisis for our students and community.

I understand some of you were not able to join the forum due to a limited number of live-viewing spots available on the platform. I apologize for that inconvenience. Please know that our team is working to remedy the problem for future presentations. So if for any reason you were unable to see the presentation live, I encourage you to watch when you are able on YouTube by clicking here. Thank you for your patience.

During the presentation, I discussed several topics, including:

  • NKU’s continued COVID-19 response and planning
  • A tuition freeze for the coming academic year
  • The FY21 budget and enrollment outlook
  • Thoughts about our “new normal” and the path forward

If you have questions, please send an email to president@nku.edu.

I wish you a pleasant final couple weeks of this trying semester. Finally, please join me during the Spring Virtual Commencement on May 9, 2020 at 11 am to celebrate our May graduates. More details will be forthcoming.

Sincerely,
Ashish
