Water Quality is an app developed by NKU’s Center for Environmental Education (CEE), NKU’s Center for Applied Informatics (CAI), and the Ohio River STEM Institute (ORSI).  The app is available in the iTunes store for iPhones, iPads and iPods for $4.99.  It can be used by students, teachers and citizen scientists to collect chemical and biological data from rivers, lakes and streams.  It also can be used as an educational guide for understanding water quality parameters as well as a field guide for identifying macroinvertebrates.  Contributors to the app include Steve Kerlin (CEE), Rosie Santos (CEE), Miriam Kannan (ORSI) Heather Mayfield (ORSI) and Aaron Corsi (CAI).
