The SGA Paul Myers Community Service and Civic Engagement Award is awarded to the organization that best exemplifies a commitment to community service and/or civic engagement. This award is in memory of the late Paul Myers. The award will be given to one (1) registered student organization in the amount of a $200 programming grant for the 2018-2019 academic year. To be eligible, one (1) representative from a registered NKU student organization must complete this application in full via NorseSync at: https://orgsync.com/21618/forms/247082. The application requires the submission of a maximum of two typed, double spaced pages with font size 12 Calibri. The submission must detail how they have exemplified a commitment to community service and/or civic engagement for the 2017-2018 academic year and how they will continue this commitment for the 2018-2019 academic year if awarded the SGA Paul Myers Community Service and Civic Engagement Award. Barnes and Noble's has generously donated eighteen (18) book grants to be given away at $250 per grant to NKU students for the Fall 2019 semester! The book grant is for the purpose of purchasing your books from the on-campus Barnes & Noble. The Anne Braden Scholarship is awarded to a student who exemplifies a passion for multiculturalism and a dedication to social equality. The award will be given to two (2) students in the amount of $500 each for the Fall 2019 semester.

SGA has partnered with UCAP's Lending Library to raffle off (2) SGA Book Grant Scholarships for Fall 2019. To be eligible, a current NKU student must donate a (book) to the NKU Lending Library at the end of the Spring 2019 semester before finals week and will be entered to win a SGA Book Grant Scholarship" from the Book Drive Raffle on the Wednesday of Finals Week.
