Use Handshake and LinkedIn Together!

Provide companies and organizations with a consistent professional brand by using the same photo, skills, and experiences on both profiles.

Projects, including classroom projects and assignments, which demonstrate skillsets can be listed on both profiles and LinkedIn has the added bonus of allowing media. Using media can visually prove your skills.

If you have done a study abroad experience, are a veteran or military member, completed a research experience, or demonstrated leadership ability in a volunteer capacity, ensure they are on both profiles.

Some companies and organizations list staff names on Handshake; connect with these individuals on LinkedIn to grow your network and demonstrate initiative.
