Dear NKU Alumni,

It is an honor to be serving in the role of President for the NKU Alumni Board of Directors/Alumni Association. I am looking forward to supporting future and current alumni with many other visionary leaders who have a deep love and commitment to the Norse community. Norse blood runs deep in my family roots because I, along with my five older siblings, all attended NKU. The university created a strong foundation of success for me and my family; one I hope to help to support and grow for others.

This foundation stemmed from the intentional leaders before me and will continue with the strong leadership of the alumni board this year. Our goal is to build meaningful connections that support current and future alumni through targeted education and laser-focused action. We hope this channeled energy will create a strong network that intertwines the past with the future.

Being a current alumnus, you can help us nurture our goal of meaningful connection by sharing your gifts of time, insight, community network and more. Here are a few ways you can join our forces:

• Serve as a mentor to a current student through the Norse Network.
• Share your expertise as a guest speaker in a college course or at a board meeting.
• Help students bridge the gap between college and career with internship/co-op opportunities.
• Donate to scholarship funds that help students eliminate financial barriers.
• Connect and support fellow alumni at events.

I am excited to see what our collective efforts can do in the year ahead. I am confident that together we can achieve great things.
