DECEMBER CEREMONY is for summer and fall graduates
Grad Fair is a convenient, all-in-one event that provides you with everything you need for graduation.
Why Attend:
Chance to WIN your regalia (cap and gown) or a diploma frame. A few lucky soon-to-be grads will be randomly selected at check in each day!
Purchase caps and gowns. Caps and gowns will be available in the NKU Bookstore, the official vendor for NKU regalia. Take advantage of the best selection of sizes at Grad Fair.
Order graduation announcements and class rings, with help from Herff Jones representatives.
Confirm the spelling of your name and check your address. Verify how your name will appear on your diploma, which will be mailed to you after the ceremony.
Pick up University Honors cords. Qualifying bachelor and associate degree candidates can pick up honors cords to be worn at commencement. Please note that Master candidates do not receive University Honors cords.
Pose portraits. A professional photographer from GradImages will be available to take cap and gown or business portraits with no sitting fee and no obligation to purchase proofs. No appointment necessary.
Prizes. There is also a chance to win one of three alumni gift baskets!!!
If You Cannot Attend:
Attendance at Grad Fair is not required to participate in the commencement ceremony.
Undergraduate and master’s regalia, non-custom doctorial regalia, announcements, diploma frames, and class rings may be ordered online at the Herff Jones website through November 8. The above regalia and diploma frames can also be purchased in the NKU Bookstore through December 14.
For qualifying undergraduates, university honors cords will be available to pick up at your college dean’s office and at commencement on December 14. (Each office will have a list of qualifying undergraduates).
To check the spelling of your name on your diploma: go to the myNKU portal, Student Self-Service tab, and select “Apply for Graduation.”
